Support for children, youth, and families navigating big emotions, anxiety, parenting stress, and the tender work of reconnecting.
Ashley is a Registered Social Worker and mother of two, living in Northwestern Ontario. With over ten years of experience in child and youth mental health, she brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work with children, youth, and families.
She holds an Honours Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work from Laurentian University and is currently completing her Master of Social Work with Dalhousie University. Ashley has pursued extensive professional development throughout her career, completing advanced trainings in areas such as trauma-informed practice, suicide prevention, emotion regulation, and attachment-based parenting.
Her approach is relational and collaborative, drawing on attachment- and play-based work, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies, while always centering parents as the experts on their children. Ashley believes that parenting is a journey full of ups and downs, and she walks alongside families to strengthen bonds, ease anxiety, and make sense of big emotions.
You can often find her validating the everyday stresses of parenting, sitting with a child sorting through big feelings, or simply offering a safe, compassionate space for families to pause, understand one another, and reconnect.
