Faith-Ellen Anderson offers a gentle, grounded, and nonjudgmental space for youth and adults navigating life's challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. Her approach is compassionate and collaborative, helping clients better understand themselves, explore their experiences, and feel supported through change.
As a Métis woman living in Northwestern Ontario, Faith-Ellen values identity, belonging, creativity, and the relationships we build with ourselves, others, and the natural world. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba.
For the past eight years, Faith-Ellen has also worked alongside individuals with developmental disabilities, supporting connection, inclusion, and meaningful participation in their communities. These experiences help shape the thoughtful, strengths-based approach she brings to her therapeutic work.
Faith-Ellen draws from compassion-focused, Internal Family Systems-informed, and cognitive analytic-informed approaches. She also incorporates creativity, arts-based activities, and nature-connected practices when they feel meaningful and appropriate. Above all, she believes in meeting people where they are, honouring their individual experiences, and creating space for healing and growth at their own pace.
