Little Lights Therapy Co. is just beginning – and it already feels like something really special is taking shape. We are so happy you’re here starting this journey with us!
As we prepare to open our doors, there’s so much to look forward to. We’re entering a season full of possibility, new partnerships, and a growing team ready to walk alongside those seeking support.
On December 1st, 2025, we’ll take possession of our first dedicated therapy space in Kenora, Ontario – a milestone we’ve been moving towards thoughtfully.
Our hope is that this space becomes more than just an office – that it feels like a soft landing place for anyone moving through life’s tender moments. A place where stories, laughter, and healing can live side by side. Although we already have our boots on the ground in the community, this next step will give us a place to gather, and to keep growing the work together.
While we will continue to prepare the space into December, every piece is being built with intention. We want this to be an atmosphere that reminds you it’s okay to exhale here.
We’re SO excited to welcome Ashley & Sarah to the Little Lights Collective. Two thoughtful, heart-led therapists who bring depth, compassion, and so much care to the work we do.
Ashley joins full-time in December as an Independent Contractor and Clinical Manager, and Sarah is joining us as an Independent Contractor. We are so incredibly lucky to have them both.
This is such an exciting step in our journey, and we’re looking forward to seeing our collective take shape in ways that reflect the heart of Little Lights.
In the Meantime…
While our physical space takes shape, the heart of Little Lights is already moving – in planning, in partnership, and in the connections that continue to grow.
As we prepare to welcome new therapists and deepen our outreach within Treaty Three Territory, we’re also getting ready to open our books. If you’ve reached out, or plan to – thank you for your patience and trust. Once bookings open in December, we’ll be offering a variety of ways to connect: in-person, outreach, and virtual care, depending on what feels right for your needs.
Wherever you are, we would be honoured to walk beside you on your healing journey.
Growth will always come second to intention.
As Little Lights expands, we’ll keep coming back to what matters most which is care that feels human, relationships built on trust, and a commitment to making support more accessible across Northwestern Ontario.
This next chapter is about deepening our roots, showing up fully, and staying present to the people and places that shape this work.
To every child, caregiver, colleague, and community partner who has been part of this journey – thank you. Your encouragement, trust, and kindness have made this possible.
To my family, friends, and everyone who has stood by me along the way – your support has meant more than words can hold.
We can’t wait to welcome you into the new space soon. If you’d like to be among the first to know when bookings open, you can subscribe to our newsletter here.
Please know that we’re here – building, preparing, and getting ready to open our doors to you soon.
With sooooo much gratitude,
Ericka + The Little Lights Team
This practice was created to offer care that’s gentle, grounded, and relationship-focused. A space where children, youth, young adults, and caregivers can feel seen — without needing to be “fixed.”
As a Métis woman and someone raised in Northwestern Ontario, I hold deep respect for the communities I serve. My work is shaped by lived experience, trauma-informed practice, and the belief that healing happens in connection.
Here on the blog, you’ll find reflections and tools for the tender moments — the ones we don’t always have words for. Thanks for being here.

Little Lights Therapy acknowledges that our work takes place on Treaty 3 Territory and within the Métis Homeland. We give thanks for the stewardship of the Anishinaabe people since time immemorial, and we honour the many Indigenous peoples who call this land home today. As a practice, we commit to walking gently on this land, supporting healing, and building a future rooted in care, respect, and connection.
